We are again invited to participate in the Seward Fourth of July celebration with an art show of our club’s work. Due to construction of the Langworthy Center, the show this year (2024) will be held at the Red Path Gallery in Seward. This gallery is right on the square where the festivities are located for this great summer event. It will be a great opportunity for our members to showcase their work. There are some changes to our show. First of all, due to size limitations, we will only be able to show 20 pieces, and those cannot be exceedingly large. There will also be a $10 entry fee for each piece. In return, we may price and sell our work with a 30% commission going to the Red Path Gallery. The gallery is charging a rental fee of $250 for each month and the Seward Arts Council is picking up that portion of the show. At this time we will only be showing June and July, and Susan Harris, who was the Peoples Choice award winner last year, will be having a solo show in August. There will be an artist reception one weekend and all artists in the show will be encouraged to attend if possible. We will be signing up pieces at our April meeting. Pam Apley is the chairman of this event if you have any questions?
