I just returned from Bartlesville, Oklahoma on a three day getaway, and viewed the 48th National Exhibition and Sale of the Women Artists of the West Tallgrass Rendezvous.  Women Artists of the West is a non-profit organization of over 300 juried members across the United States, Australia and Canada with the objectives of uniting women artists, elevating awareness of art created by women and encouraging technical excellence.  That was the technical version of……..WOW, the talent viewed in both two and three dimensional work was extraordinary.  There were 221 works by 136 artists featuring wildlife, nautical, still-life, equine, cityscape, landscape, sculpture, plein air and figurative art.  If you are interested in viewing their website, go to www.waow.org.   I loved the show, and of course after being exposed, I could hardly wait to get back to the easel.   Carmen Stineman
