We participated in the Havelock Car Show this year, just to try and get our name out there and maybe make some sales.  Carmen Stineman and Donna Justen did some face painting with some help during the busy time from Craig Imig.  Lynette Fast demonstrated jewelry making and Kirk Kuenzi spent the morning doing caricatures.  Wanda Medina and Rita Wrenholt did portraits and Donna Pozehl had a table to entertain kids with art making activities to finish out our demos.  We had lots of help setting up and taking down, and lots of help bringing in people.  Thank you to Jan Blank, Joyce Jacobs, Will Rennick, Joan Leitner, Alex Fisher and Lisa Cassel for help setting up, bringing water and talking up the guild.  If I missed anyone, I apologize…..once I was in the zone, I didn’t get to see how everything else went.  I heard of two commission pieces arranged for and I got two inquiries about face painting events.  We will evaluate the day and decide if we want to continue this activity for next year.   Carmen Stineman
